Against the background of the West’s sluggish reaction, Putin is stepping up his massive attacks on Ukraine.
Under such circumstances, Türkiye could become a more reliable and effective ally of Ukraine.
Since Istanbul and Kyiv are directly interested in maintaining peace and stability in the Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian region, combining their military, political, economic, scientific and technical potentials could significantly change the balance of power and force Russia to stop this war. In the future, the military-political alliance between Türkiye and Ukraine could develop into a new security association of all interested states in Europe and the Middle East, which would ultimately affect the balance of political forces around the world. In addition to the sovereign states of the region, the enslaved peoples of the North Caucasus may also be interested in creating a stable Ukrainian-Turkish military and political alliance, as they may eventually realize their long-held dream of finally freeing themselves from colonial dependence on Russia.
Obviously, the Russian Federation and its allies would make every effort to counteract the creation of such an association, and therefore Ukrainian politicians and diplomats, for their part, would also have to do a lot to put this idea into practice and develop it further.
