Donald Trump was so eager to get the Nobel Peace Prize, but he never got it

Donald Trump was so eager to get the Nobel Peace Prize, but he never got it.

Vladimir Putin played a significant role in this.

Trump hoped in vain that his “friend” Putin would listen to the words of the newly elected American President and end the war in Ukraine, which would give Trump the opportunity to earn the fame of a peacemaker and claim the appropriate award.

In reality, all of Putin’s flirtations with Trump are just a screen and a bluff. The president of the RF always “powders the brains” because he considers Donald Trump to be a fool who can be deceived and “led by the nose” endlessly and with impunity. This tactics of Putin’s behavior is caused by his trying to delay the process of making a decision that is not favorable to him, which in turn allows him to buy time.

The fact is that the real reason for the Russian army’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 was not some illusory rights of Russian-speaking Ukrainians, but the imperial ambitions of the Russians themselves and their irresistible desire to restore their status and influence in the international arena, which they lost after the collapse of the USSR.

Several years ago, Putin openly stated that he considered the collapse of the Soviet Union to be the greatest tragedy of the 20th century.

At the time, few people took his words seriously, although they sounded like a warning even then.

The Russians began to correct the “biggest mistake of the 20th century” by invading Ukraine. But first, they quietly annexed Belarus and began using its territory to develop their offensive against Ukraine.

In order to physically exhaust the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian command at the first stage of the war threw into battle military units and formations dominated by former prisoners and representatives of national minorities. In fact, they were expendable human material, those whom they did not feel sorry for.

At the same time, there were professionals fighting on the Ukrainian front, such as career Russian officers. In the near future, they will pass on their combat experience to Russian soldiers, whom they are already beginning to prepare for a great war and the conquest of Europe.

The war in Ukraine has shown that the Russians are not yet ready for an open confrontation with the EU and NATO. That is why they are trying in various ways to gain the time they need to modernize their armed forces and better prepare their military for future military campaigns in the European theater.

Today, Putin is truly afraid only of the United States, and this is the factor that keeps him from invading Europe, which is not ready for war but is still under the umbrella of NATO, but in fact of the United States of America. It is not difficult to guess what will happen when Russia fully puts its economy on a war footing and fully restores its military potential.

In such circumstances, Ukrainians have only one choice. If we want to preserve our freedom, independence, and state sovereignty, we must as soon as possible clearly and unambiguously define our global vector of political orientation. Since Ukraine is located on the European continent, it would be quite logical to consider all European nations as potential allies with whom we should build a common European security system that would give us all reliable protection against Russia’s aggressive foreign policy.

The country also needs to put things in order. First and foremost, the nation must stop petty political squabbles, unite and give a consolidated response to Russia’s armed aggression.

Today, people expect effective political and managerial decisions from the President of Ukraine, as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including appointing to key positions in the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, intelligence and anti-corruption agencies of professionals, who have shown courage, resilience, professional competence, and practical readiness to perform the most difficult tasks due to the current requirements of the circumstances and time.
