Russia Attacked Western Regions of Ukraine

After Russia’s massive UAV and  missile strikes on Kyiv, on the night of July 12, Russia attacked Western regions of Ukraine

This time, Lviv, Chernivtsi, and Lutsk suffered most of all. These are known to be historic cities of Ukraine, where many monuments of Western European civilization have been preserved. It is well known that the current leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and his inner circle fiercely hate Western culture and civilization, which is why they directed their deadly missiles and drones mainly at the West of Ukraine that night.

Putin probably realizes that he will no longer be able to conquer all of Ukraine, so he is trying to inflict as much damage as possible and destroy everything that preserves the memory of the West, which he hates.

Today, few doubt that the main reason for the Russian troops’ invasion of Ukraine is the imperial ambitions of the Russians and their current President, Putin, personally. It is obvious that under such circumstances, the only guarantee of peace and stability in the Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian Region can be the defeat of the Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine, which should end with liquidation of the RF and the prosecution and punishment of all Russian war criminals. This applies first and foremost to the chief war criminal, the current head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, who is primarily responsible for unleashing this bloody war, which was provoked by no one and nothing.

Recognizing the danger which modern Russia and its current political leaders pose to the entire democratic world, the West must draw the right conclusions and direct its efforts as quickly as possible toward the elimination of Putin’s regime and demilitarization of the Russian Federation.

Then there may be hope that in the near future Russia will become a peaceful and democratic state that will no longer be a threat to all its neighbors. It is obvious that for this to happen, Russia’s future political leaders must give up their imperial ambitions and embark on the path of democratic development.

Can, under the current circumstances, democratization and demilitarization of Russia take place peacefully? It is unlikely that the answer to this question will be positive.

During Putin’s rule, agitation and propaganda have done their job, and the situation can only be rectified by the unconditional defeat of the Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine, otherwise it will gather its forces and start a new war.

In order to bring closer the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which has been raging in the center of Europe well into the fourth years now, Ukraine, together with Western countries, must support democratically or at least pragmatically minded politicians, if there are any left in Russia, and provide them with comprehensive assistance to free Russia from Putin’s regime and demilitarize it. Special attention should be paid to small peoples and nations that are currently suffering the most from the inhumane imperial policy of the Russian Federation. Leading Western countries, together with Ukraine, must fulfill their civilizational role and help all oppressed peoples to free themselves from Russian colonial dependence and embark on the path of building their own independent states, which in the future will grow and develop peacefully and communicate and cooperate with all their close and distant neighbors on a mutually beneficial basis.
