Given the current circumstances, Europe can no longer rely on the United States and is therefore compelled to develop its own security system and independently counteract the numerous challenges and threats posed in recent times by authoritarian regimes worldwide. Russia\u2019s aggressive foreign policy further reinforces the necessity of such a decision.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Public statements and speeches by most European leaders indicate that modern imperialist policies pursued by Russia are aimed at conquering the whole of Europe, not just Ukraine. It is now widely understood that Putin\u2019s ambitions extend far beyond Crimea and Donbas.
