Annual Race in Support of the Ukrainian Language \u201cRunning for the Language\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n

On August 31, 2025, the annual Run for the Language race took place at the Expocenter of Ukraine<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the  time when a mad neighbor, in agony before the inevitable collapse of his empire, terrorizes Ukrainians every day and night, we are… running! However, not to the ends of the earth, not to escape, but for the sake of the victory of Ukrainian identity!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The event was held in support of our prisoners of war who suffered for their pro-Ukrainian position, and Ukrainians living in the temporarily occupied territories who want to speak Ukrainian but cannot do so under the threat of death; to unite Ukrainian-speaking people around the world; and to promote a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n

President of the Institute of Global Policy Oleh BEREZIUK took part in the race at the distance of \u201cHalf Marathon. 21 km\u201d<\/strong> was attended by the. \u0415his is not the first marathon for Oleh Bereziuk. He is a regular participant in such events.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cThis is not my first participation in such events. In my younger years, I was actively involved in athletics and military all-around events, where I achieved high sports results. Then there was service in the airborne troops, where sports training also played its role.<\/em><\/p>\n

After completing my sports career, I continued to participate in competitions for sports veterans in the \u201cMaster\u201ds category \u2013 annual championships and Cups of Ukraine in various sports held for older athletes \u2013 where I repeatedly won prizes in my age category.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
