What Does the Russian Missile and Drone Attack on Poland Mean?

The whole secret lies in the psychology of Russians, which manifests itself at both the lowest and highest state levels. As for the attack on the Poles, Putin simply decided to make a stir. In order to amuse Russians and exalt himself in their eyes, he decided to scare the Poles and troll NATO. Why should he not? Putin can’t win the war in Ukraine, while the plebs always demand bread and circuses. So, he decided, in what is essentially a hooligan act, to add some variety to his gray and dull routine. Putin is confident that Trump will not engage in conflict with him, while Europe, dreading Russia’s nuclear weapons, is not ready for a direct armed confrontation with Russia without the United States.

By frightening Poles and showing NATO’s helplessness, Putin is earning additional political points on the domestic Russian market and thus compensates for Russia’s failures on the Ukrainian front. That is why Russia’s missile and UAV attack on Poland should be viewed as a special psychological operation by the Russian special services aimed at intimidating the West and raising Putin’s authority in the eyes of Russians who still firmly believe in Russia’s greatness and invincibility.

The only way to put the aggressor in his place and discourage him from resorting to similar antics in the future is to respond adequately to all his provocations. It is time to finally understand that for Russians, the most important argument is not logic, but force, and therefore, in relations with Russia, all problems are best and most effectively resolved exclusively by force.
