Given the current world events related to the Russian-Ukrainian war, the topic is considered extremely relevant, which is confirmed by the attention paid to it by the experts invited to the event. There were members of the Ukrainian Parliament, well-known politicians, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the public, and foreign guests who are concerned about the problems of Ukrainian society. As you know, today the Ukrainian state has many problems, and practically none of them can be postponed, intended to be resolved later. That is why the leadership of the Institute for Global Politics proposed to discuss the issues of military, financial, economic, food and environmental security of the Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian region in connection with Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine. Including the prospect of a military-political alliance between Türkiye and Ukraine and the participation of the Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian region states in the creation of a new military-political coalition to address existing common problems in the field of international security.
After all, today, Ukraine has to choose reliable partners and allies that will help it achieve victory in the war against Russia. Among others, there may be Türkiye, which unconditionally supports the preservation of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, as President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Erdogan has repeatedly stated.
