The Russians Are Deliberately Provoking a Conflict on May 9
The Russians are deliberately provoking a conflict on May 9, creating the impression that Ukraine wants to disrupt their military parade. What goal are they trying to achieve, and what do they intend to demonstrate to the world and their own citizens through this event? If they want to complain to someone that, as a result of the attack on Ukraine, they no longer have military equipment and are running out of manpower, then everyone already understands that.
Perhaps the Russians themselves want to disrupt this parade so as not to show the world this sad spectacle, but still, as always, they want to make Ukraine the scapegoat. If that is the case, then the logic behind the behavior of the RF’s top military and political leadership becomes clear.
In reality, it is in Ukraine’s interest for the Russians to hold this parade without hindrance, since the whole world will see what Russia has fought its way to and what the “wise” policies of their current leader, Vladimir Putin, have led to.
While Russia used to demonstrate its military might at parades before the full-scale war, the current parade will be a vivid demonstration of Russia’s decline and the significant loss of its military and political influence in the world – first of all due to the lack of success on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
Therefore, it would be better not to interfere with their parade, but to use our available forces and resources to achieve more important objectives, which will have a significant impact on Russia’s military-technical and financial-economic situation and bring us closer to victory and the end of this brutal and bloody war.
